(FDT/1) Byblos – Tripoli
This tour begins with a half-day visit of Jbeil or Byblos the Phoenician city known to being the oldest continually inhabited town, where you visit the Crusaders' castle, the Phoenician temples, and the Roman theatre, the Royal Necropolis and to enjoy a lovely promenade on its port. Enjoy a typical oriental lunch at a local restaurant in Jbeil. Continue further down the northern cost to reach the second largest city of Lebanon Tripoli. It is a modern city known to have preserved jealously its medieval old religious edifices and public buildings. In the old town where you can see the Crusader Castle of Raymond de St. Gilles, mosques of Mameluks period, Koranic schools, oriental Bazaars & souks and a Turkish bath named Hamman Izzeddine.
